Laura graduated from the Aveda Institute of Minneapolis in 2006 at the top of her class. She has 15 plus years’ experience working on a wide variety of skin types, but has a special passion for treating acneic skin.

Laura specializes in advanced skin treatments and dermaplaning is one of her favorites!

In her free time, she likes to spend time with her husband, two boys, and two super cute dogs.

I started in this industry nearly 18yrs ago that has continued to keep me creative and passionate about my craft. The time has flown by and my love for what I do has only grown throughout these years and for the years to come.
This however wouldn’t have been possible without my amazing clients. It is because of them that I find the most joy, and whether it’s transforming them with extensions, color or simply giving them a fresh new haircut, I truly embrace every encounter I get to have with my clients. I pride myself on being able to draw inspiration not only from my clients but my continued education that our industry offers.
With everything I love about what I do, my time away from work is spent with my family and friends doing BBQ’s, Bonfires, Vacations and Four Wheeling just to name a few. Life is too short to not enjoy it with those that mean so much to you. I’m just super fortunate to be able to have this at both my work and home.
I have had an interest in hair from a very young age, so it was no surprise to anyone that right after I completed high school, I jumped right into cosmetology school. I graduated cosmetology school in the summer of 2012.
I realized while in school how little they taught about curly hair.
Having curly hair, myself, it struck an even deeper interest in me.
I had to learn more, so I started apprenticing under a curly hair specialist, who was also an educator. From there I went to New York and L.A. to take more curl education classes. I became a Level 3 Deva Certified Curl Specialist. I am passionate about what I do, my goal is to help you love your curls as much as I have grown to love mine. Helping you with tips and tricks to making them work for you and your life style. I will be honest; I work a lot. But for me, it’s hard not to because it doesn’t feel like work. When I’m not at the salon I enjoy spending time with my family, including our Shih Tzu, Betsie.
Paul has been with Snap-on Tools Inc. for over 30 years and currently holds a management position. Laurie was in Residential Property Management for over 20 years and is now a Farmers Insurance Agent. They love to attend sporting events, travel and spend time with family. They have a blended family of 7 children, numerous grandchildren and their Yorkie/Maltese named Kona.
